Coach Vince Dooley's Georgia Bulldogs were struggling in Knoxville versus the highly-ranked Tennessee Volunteers on September 6, 1980. In a now-legendary moment, Coach Dooley decided to put the ball into the hands of his freshman sensation Herschel Walker. The rest is history. Here, Coach Dooley literally hands the ball off to Herschel at Foley Field. In just three seasons Walker would become the greatest college football player of all-time.
